Christmas ADR's - Too Late??

Just last week I was actually able to book the candlelight processional for December 26, 1:00 at Biergarten for 9 people. This was the only restaraunt and the only day I could get, so I consider myself very lucky. I was also able to get a breakfast at Whispering Canyon. I was also trying to get the Hoop Di Do - no way and I tried for any seating any day Dec 22 - Dec 29

Just persuaded DH to book today - are we too late for all the good stuff? If so, may rethink plans....

Fortunately due to the time difference we always eat later at WDW on WDW time. That may be to your advantage at this point!

A lot depends on the size of your party. I had difficulty making ressies for a group of 5 but not for dh and myself...back at the 180 day mark. For example, I could not get California Grill for 5 on any of the 8 days we will be at WDW (Dec. 19-27) but had plenty of choices for just 2. Too bad, the kids will just have to take a skip on that one! Also, I couldn't get Le Cellier for my group of 5 for dinner on any night of my trip.

Persistence pays - I would keep calling as people always cancel. For Christmas Day, try Whispering Canyon at the WL and you'll get to see the fantastic WL decorations too. The resort restaurants may be less crowded. I had Thanksgiving Dinner there a couple of years ago and it was delicious - full turkey dinner with all the trimmings. I would think they may have a special Christmas menu as well. Good Luck and happy planning.

We will be at Kona for Breakfast on Christmas day too at 8am. And then to Crystal Palace for Dinner !

I think we'll be starting our day a little later, but I am certainly looking forward to it. No Tonga Toast for me though banana: = blech!!!), I think I might try the pineapple macadamia nut pancakes.

After about 1000 calls to disney dining (lucky for that 1 800 number) got some plans hammered out. Plus I was super lucky and someone on the boards offered me their Dec 16th Castle Reservation.

15th - O'Hana - 9:45pm - this is okay as our plane arrives at 7:20pm.
16th - CRT - 8:10am - I'm sure we'll still be full!
Crystal Palace - 3:50pm
17th - Chef Mickey's - 9:15pm - only time open our entire time.
18th - O'Hana - 10:30am - then Christmas Party
19th - 1900 Park Fare - then move resorts
Cape May - 7pm
20th - Tusker House - 9:30am
Boma - 7:10pm
21st - Prime Time Cafe - 6:25pm
22nd - Biergarden 5:15pm then 8pm Candlelight Processional
23rd - Teppan Edo - 9:15pm
24th - Wolf Gang Pucks - 5:30pm
25th - Marrakesh - 6:45pm (different kind of Christmas - all we could get)
26th - Crystal Palace - 11:40am
27th - Cape May - 9:20am
Liberty Tree Tavern - 7:40pm

I'm gaining weight just looking at it.... we may cancel a couple of these, so I'll keep you in the loop just in case you want them... no chance of Le Cellier anywhere anytime, although with the reviews I've been reading it may be okay to skip.
