Christmas ADR - Online or Phone?

I don't have a lot of experience with ADR's, but I'm hoping to go to Cinderella's Royal Table for Christmas and I was wondering if I'd be better off going on-line at midnight 180 days before, or calling first thing that morning? Any advice?

You can go online at 6am EST - if you have any issues, then call at 7am. Definitely try the online option first.

I will go on-line at 6am at my 180 (+week long stay) window to make December and Christmas ADRs, but now I'm getting really worried. We are DVC and thought that arriving before 25th would be allow us to be OK for ADRs. Now that many people are arriving when we do to get FD, I am worried. If Christmas is so crowded, do you thing there were less FD rooms just before Christmas than were offered in earlier fall months? I guess all I can do is go on-line at 6am and pray while typing then call at 7 to fill in any blanks. Anyone here have success booking some popular ADRs during Christmas time in previous years when they were competing with the FD folks? Please, someone, give me some words of encouragement! Our plan was to really treat ourselves out at dinners as part of this Christmas trip gift to ourselves...

We were there last year from 12/21-12/27. We were AoA LK and were not able to partake in FD- however it was offered (i just didn't want to move to the cabins at Ft. Wilderness and pay $500 more).

In other words- same boat as this year with ressies and FD and such.

At my 180 mark I was able to book online for everything and got BOG for 5:15 on Christmas Day and CRT for lunch on 12/27. I was also successful in getting Chef Mickey's on 12/22 but the time was kinda late for us and I wouldn't do that again. Got everything else too. I was a bit gobsmacked that it was so easy. Figured pixie dust had to have been sprinkled around the computer the night before...
