Just book 11 months ahead, typically Christmas is not as crowded for DVC as many think.

Almost a guarantee if you book a non-value category and are online to do it at 8 AM Eastern on January 22, 2018.

I know it's 10 months away to book, but I can't wait!!!.
Going to surprise my DH. Going for 2 weeks. 1 week at our other TS and 1 week at Disney!!

Oh, I guess it's indeed not necessarily true for everyday, but calling in to request a villa at high-demand times should increase one's chance to greater than zero.

As long as you will not be trying to book a value or club level room, you should have no problem booking a room at 11 months out at AKV for the time you want and that is regardless of whether you do it online or call.

My apologies. I thought you were asking about DEc 2017, which you can book now. Dec 2018 should be wide open if you book at the 11 month window.
