We have visited twice before in February and although we can't take the kids out for 2 weeks this year we had thought of coming over from the UK to see the pre-Christmas festivities, even if we can only manage a week. Does anyone know the date that the 'Christmas Celebrations' start in 2005? Also does anyone have any experience of the non-Disney parks e.g. Seaworld and Universal prior to Christmas? :rockband:

Thanks for the post, we were really hoping to have a 'different' experience on our next visit and Christmas would add an extra element of excitement. I had read that the parks close early at that time of year because the crowds are fewer and more rides close for maintenence than usual, is this true?

We always visit Disney between Thanksgiving and Christmas and yes, they do close early. MK and MGM close between 6 and 8 p.m. (varies by day of the week, and if there is a 'special' after hours party)
Epcot is always open until 9 pm.
AK has always closed before dark. In the past 7 years, it has ALWAYS closed at 5 p.m.
