Christimas day parade taping and ECV

I have a question is it much harder to move around on those days. We were planning on going to the Magic Kingdom on the 3rd all day and part of the 5th

It will be tougher to get down mainstreet until you get past the castle in the morning. We found that after you got past the castle the crowds were great until around noon when they stopped taping, then the whole park got crowded.
