Worshipfulness is a daily attitude of gratitude and it's the choice I can make to live in the presence of God moment-by-moment. I can praise God because of what He has done for me, but most of all, because of who He is.

Hi guys! just a quick note to let you know I haven't fallen off the earth or anything. What a busy week we have had!! Things are quieting down a bit. Last night DS graduated from Kindergarten...complete with caps, gowns, marching and turning of the tassel! Too cute! This is the last week of school.....yippeee! Thurs. is DD's awards night. If anyone thinks of it...she could use prayer.....4 finals coming up tomorrow and Thurs. She is working hard to bring up some grades(with incentive provided by yours truely ).

Saphire, Thanks so much for that post and scripture above. That is truly a favorite of mine. Good to see you again.

Tasha, I know what you mean about busy...This time of year is so packed with birthdays and anniversaries in our family...and then to top it off, it's always the time of year for graduations, picnics, church events and end of the year school programs for kids making it even more crazy. I'm sure DS's graduation was a fun time for him and all of you and I will prayer for your sweet daughter.

-I would like to ask for prayer for Michael. I had to pick him up from school again yesterday with a high fever. This is the third time in three weeks. He has been being treated for Strep since last week. Has had some other tests that they would like repeated when he is well. The doctors feel he is alright but just wanting to make sure. He also has a program with his class this Wednesday night so we're hoping he is feeling better soon.

-Also, this Sunday at church is our Children's Sunday (Children lead worship) and I am basically overseeing and implementing ALL but the preaching. This service is followed by a Church Family picnic that I have to get some things together for as well...So, I could really use some prayers.

-Our Pastoral search team is meeting this Thursday night for a final meeting about a potential candidate who has been through two interviews. I know nothing else about the details of this but would appreciate prayers for wisdom for the people who are making the decsion.
