Jilly, Thanks for that puppy...I bet it eats less and is neater than the real one! I'm not sure we will make it to that show...I almost think I have a stamp show at the same time

Be careful! Watch out for attacks from the Devil, your great enemy. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for some victim to devour. Take a firm stand against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your Christian brothers and sisters all over the world are going through the same kind of suffering you are. In his kindness God called you to his eternal glory by means of Jesus Christ. After you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and He will place you on a firm foundation.
1 Peter 5:8-10</Font>
I have been thinking about this scripture, and I believe that the devil knows when we are weak, weary, tired, complacent, troubled, stressed, feeling bad... and he uses those times as prime opportunities to launch his attacks against us. And he knows our weak areas and seems to hit those rather hard. So, this scripture, I believe, is encouraging us to always be alert, spiritually speaking, because the devil is looking to discourage, defeat and destroy God's people (John 10:10) . But God wants us to keep His Word in our hearts and our mouths, take opportunities to encourage and pray for one another, and see situations not as problems but as opportunities to grow closer to God and allow Him to prove Himself faithful.

JC, thanks for that word of encouragemnet today.
The scripture and all that you said were so helpful for me today, but espeially the quote above.
Now, the interseting and awesome thing is that I was having conversation with my mom earlier and I was led to post the scripture below...I came here and read what you said and the scripture I was led to today goes along so well with your post above:
"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
