I am making a scrapbook brag book for my aunt and uncle in law for their first grandchild. After I made 2 pages for the baptism/christening I realized I may have made a mistake. The grandparents are Presbyterian and the baby's parents are Episcopalian.
This is my question:
Will they use a baptismal font and will the baby be christened as an infant?
Sorry for my lack of knowledge. :(
Thanks in advance.

Dan, what would I do without you? You are such a wealth of information!:teeth: Thank you!! The baptism pages will stay in the album.

(I'm Catholic too. )

My sister is Presbytrian and she baptized/christened both of her dd's as infants. I'm pretty sure Episcopalian's do too. What a wonderful and thoughtful gift!

I used to be an organist at an Episcopal church....the short answer...

Baptismal font with water, Chrism oil also used, infants baptised, usually God parents also present (if parents choose to have Godparents designated). Episcopal Book of Common Prayer and Holy Baptism is online at http://www.dandello.net/bocp/ .

Sounds like a great gift!
