I'm not playing the race card. I just wont do it. Sorry. If you were to read my posts in this thread I said over and over that Charlie is a jerk. Chris acted out this way KNOWING he was being watched by onlookers. If he wants to move on and live in the public eye, then he needs to check his actions. Cause yesterday showed me that he hasn't changed a bit. STUPID MOVE.

Everyone has their own opinions. But IMO, he's a jerk and he will NEVER get a dime of my money. Oh, and I'm also a Virginian and I'm ashamed.

Chris acted out this way yesterday KNOWING people were watching. What does he do when the cameras are not on? The man has a problem and using Charlie Sheen has a crutch isn't helping matters.

Regardless of whether that poster meant to portray that view or not, I understand what you're saying.

For me, I honestly don't care what the color of their skin, who their ancestors were, where they came from, where they live.

I'm trying to step out of myself and see it through different eyes. I don't think the media gave the Chris Brown thing more attention than it gave Charlie Sheen, for sure. I do think they portrayed CB as more angry and CS as more crazy. I also think the photos of Rhianna after he beat her up really helped to rile more people up. As far as CS's earlier abusive acts, I don't remember them.

I definitely think racism is prevalent and I'm certain, as a white woman, it's worse than I imagine. Worse than it's even possible for me to imagine. I do not feel I'm a racist, but I have caught myself a few times thinking racist thoughts and I HATED it.

I'm just not sure that racism is the culprit here.

Ike Turner, OJ, Chris Brown - all terrible people who happen to be black. I don't get why people keep defending Charlie Sheen. He's also terrible. Great post. I don't think it racist, but racial. A lot of people have racial reactions to certain things but are not racist. It basically is fueled by people going with what resembles them and their life the most. We are all guilty of it in some form.

Charlie Sheen has done A LOT worse things in the last month. We weren't in the car with him that night we have no idea what really went on. Rhianna is no angel. I agree with you on this. And, without going into too much detail, I know several black women very well that often play this card. I am very proud of my heritage and this disgusts me.

But, to stay on topic, I do hope Chris Brown gets his probation revoked.

I see Chris Brown as having anger issues, and Charlie Sheen as being mentally unstable, or to put it more bluntly, crazy. Doesn't excuse any of the crazy/stupid/abusive things he's done though. (I also think the reason CS acts "crazy", is because of excessive alcohol and drug abuse, over many many years.)
