And I was surprised with how religious the Christmas songs were - not your average Frosty and Grandma Got Runover song, but Silent Night, O Come All Ye Faithful, etc. Loved every minute of it too!
You are right and being a transplant form Illinois and no seasonal changes, it is tradition for us to get down a couple of time to get into the spirit of things. I am sad as there will be no Osborn lights this year, my favorite.
It's pretty much just Christmas music. In New York, we are used to hearing a wide variety of holiday music which includes at the very least Hannukah and Christmas. In Disney, we were surprised at the exclusive acknowledgement of Christmas.
Not sure if they improved things but, a few years ago at Epcot around Christmas, they kept playing the same songs, I especially recall Sleigh Ride, over and over almost every hour.
The music is incredible! The decorations are fantastic! If WDW doesn't put you in the mood for Christmas, nothing will! I loved wandering around the parks listening to the holiday music - only 65 more days!!!!
65 days for us too mrsltg!! We are so excited!! This will be our first trip to Disney in December. I have seen so many pics and heard so many stories, that I had to take my mother to Disney for the holidays. This is her first time and is her Christmas gift from me!!
