Choosing time of year to visit

Just wondering if there is a thread or website that lists all the Disney events (marathons), cheer events, football events, Jersey week, school breaks, throughout the year? Trying to pick a time to go in 2017 that will be a good time to visit when it isn't so crowded. It seems there is no "off season," any more.

I cant refer you to a specific website that lists all of that but the week after Labor Day is by far the least crowded time I can think of. Followed by January after new years and excluding any holidays. I also notice a drop after thanksgiving and before Christmas

This site has some recommendations. The blogger is the coauthor on a guide that I found informative -
The Easy Guide to Your First Walt Disney World Visit 2016.

When to go is a matter of prioritizing different elements. For example, January, excluding MLK Day, has low crowds but usually more attractions are closed and weather could be an issue. Late August and early September has low crowds but the temps are high with higher chances of rain. Early April, not around Easter, and mid November have low crowds and, usually, moderate weather.

Thanks! This is just what I was looking for! I knew I had seen it somewhere but couldn't find it again.

There is no "off" season anymore. The first week in May isn't bad. The first 2 weeks of November aren't bad either. The first 2 weeks of December are okay. For the most part, the third week of January through the first week of March aren't horrible, except for the week before and after MLK day. Besides that, the crowds pretty much suck. Also, go on a Monday-Friday during the above mentioned weeks to avoid many of the locals (day trippers).
