I'm wondering how much pool time we will get the first week of
Dec.? Should I choose resort based on a great pool or not?
Might consider Fort Wilderness but the pool areas seem really
boring! Maybe it will still be cold and we won't use the pool at
all.

we stayed thanksgiving at beach club and used stormalong bay quite a bit and just last xmas, we were at animal kingdom lodge and used the pool some there as well...all of the pools at disney are heated so you should have no problem enjoying them...
have fun!!!!

It can be hit or miss in December. I actually like going when pool time isn't as important since that takes away from precious park time for me! The kids however love Stormalong Bay. If it were me, I wouldn't use the pool as a factor in December, but maybe plan a water park day if it is exceptionally warm one day. Have a great trip!

I think that every resort has at least one heated pool. ::MickeyMo

we've gone twice in december..
one year it was so cold the kids were wearing their ski jackets, hats and mittens some of the time..
the other year it was so hot (80s) we swam every single day and went to the waterparks as well.....

so with december you never know....
