Choosing A Water Park ?

Which of the two WDW water parks would be recommended for 5-year-olds? Swimming proficiency isn't an issue, just wondering which park they would enjoy more.

In my opinion, i would have to say Typhoon Lagoon. The wave pool there is great, and I am sure the kids would love it! Also, they have some water slides, but I don't think they are as intense as the ones at Blizzard Beach!

I go with the opposite and say BB. The kiddie area in BB is wonderful and the family raft ride combined with the toboggan racers are great " fun for all" family slides.

I love TL also but I think that the wave pool is a little strong for the wee ones.

I would also vote for Blizzard Beach. My kids really liked the section for the smaller kids when they were that age.

I would defenitely say Typhoon Lagoon. Much more things that the little ones can enjoy to do and look at. It is also much prettier and it has a ton more shade. Most definetely our family's favorite! Hope you have fun!

..for kids and I vote BB. I don't think there is any comparison in the young kids section - BB is well designed with lots of fun, they can also probably enjoy some of the Ski Patrol area for the under 10 group, the wave pool is much calmer and enjoyable for younger kids, and the family raft ride is awesome !

I asked this question awhile back and was told TL would be best for kiddies i think that's what we're trying in October!
