I know it's just a REQUEST and they can't guarantee, but getting our boy a 2 br rental here for birthday gift (and that's all lol) for next week.

Which room/ building / view would you choose? thanks

We have stayed in 4 different buildings and only one time got a mostly parking lot view. I would definitely request a water view. I prefer buildings 4, 5 and 6 with 6 being my favorite so far, because it is connected to the hotel and I can get my morning starbucks without going outside.

How do you make a room request?

You USED to be able to call the resort directly about 2 weeks before your checkin date and make the request.

They have since stopped accepting requests unless you are a high level VIP owner. (This is actually more in line with official Wyndham Policy than how the resort was acting).

Now the only way to make a request would be when you are checking in and asking nicely to the person actually checking you in.
