I have never eaten at any of these places, so I need help in picking 2 for dinner. Please let me know why you would pick them. What have you ordered there? Any help would be great. Thanks

We've never been to Whispering Canyon, but we've now been to both Ohana and Boma twice.....earlier this year in March, and back in 2015. We loved them both times. Boma is one of my favorite buffets, and it was super convenient because we were staying at AKL both times. Ohana was also really good. The food there is served family style, they basically bring out everything on the menu and it is all you care to eat.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the 3, I guess I would look out how easy it will be for you to travel to each different location.

We've been to all three and we will never eat dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe again. The meal that we had last March was terrible.

Boma is our new favorite. We have eaten there twice and the food has been great. I had been afraid to try it because I am not very adventurous when it comes to new foods, but there was plenty of things that I loved.

'Ohana is okay. It is mostly a place we go with a group. I would check the menu and see if it appeals to you.

It will be easier to get an ADR at Boma than at Ohana. :)

Boma, I don't like anything about 'Ohana and WCC is just ok, Boma is consistently one of my favorite restaurants.

We are trying Boma and WCC on our next trip.....but we go to Ohana on every trip, usually more than once. The food is delicious and we love the atmosphere! We have never had bad food or service there.

We have been to both Whispering Canyon and Boma so far, and are going to try Ohana for the first time this summer. Boma is definitely our favourite buffet. There are many different types of food to try, and some great flavours. We have also enjoyed Whispering Canyon on two occasions. We have had the skillet both times at WC, and have enjoyed the food. With kids, we also really enjoy the atmosphere there. If you are wanting to try something different though, I really do suggest Boma. It really is one of our favourites (can't wait to try Ohana though too).

'Ohana and Boma are buffets, 'Ohana is a family style where they bring it to you and everything is a set menu. At Boma you go up to the "pods" (buffet sections) and choose what looks good to you.

WCC has an AYCE skillet dinner, and also has a la carte choices of other entrees.
I personally like WCC's skillet dinner probably more than I like 'Ohana's dinner.

It's been a while since we've eaten at Boma. The first few times we went to Boma, I really liked it.
I guess I would pick Boma and WCC.

I'm giving Ohana a pass this year - lately they always seat us over on the left side of the restaurant near the exit to the bathrooms which I dislike & the wait is still ridiculously long to be seated. The many large group tables take a lot of the wait staff's attention and as a result the small party tables get sub par service, IME. If you are a large group it's great if you are a two or threesome, not so good.
I like Boma as I like the variety of food available. There can be a bit of a wait but once you're seated it's buffet and you can set your own pace.
Have not tried Whispering Canyon - will give it a try this Dec.

I agree completely with the above comment about Ohanas. For us it was a one and done.

Having eaten at all three I would say Boma, hands down. Make sure you try the zebra domes for dessert. You can also walk around the resort and see the animals at the viewing stations, which is a real treat.

Whispering canon for dinner was honestly just meh, another one and done.

Honestly I would do Boma and maybe try a different one for your second choice.

In all honesty, I have not been to Whispering Canyon. However, I have been to both Boma and Ohana before and really enjoyed both. In fact, I will be enjoying both again this fall. When I was making my list of restaurants I really wanted to repeat, holding some spots open for trying new ones, both of these made the first cut. I hope you try them and enjoy them as much as I do.

We love Boma! Have only done WCC for breakfast and have never been to Ohana for any meal.

Boma! It's great and it's fun to visit the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

You're going to hear a lot of love for Boma. It's a favorite on this forum, but we hated it. Everything tasted like it was doused in cinnamon. And while it's big favorite here, it's easy to find an ADR for it which can be be looked at as an advantage. Or not. ;)

WCC has been inconsistent for us. Fantastic one visit, not so good the next time.

Ohana is our favorite. I've never had bad food there. The service left something to be desired a few visits though, but far and away, the food, the atmosphere and the entertainment are excellent.

1) BOMA
2) Whispering Canyon (get skillet)
3) Ohana

I haven't eaten at Boma, but we've enjoyed meals at both Whispering Canyon Cafe and Ohana. At Ohana, they have a sort of all you can eat serving of different flavored meats, along with salad, bread, noodles, dessert, etc. It's quite the feast- go hungry. At Whispering Canyon Cafe we had the All You Can Eat Skillet, that has a variety of barbequed meats and sides. It was tasty. Ohana is better, but also more expensive. I'd do whichever one appeals most to you and is most convenient.

I would choose Boma and O'hana. Boma has fantastic food and AKL is so much fun to visit. O'hana's food is good IMHO and the music and games are a lot of fun. We did not like the food or antics at WCC. I left with a splitting headache.

I'd choose O'hana with Boma a close second
