Choices - Please advise

I have a choice of 1900 Park for dinner at 7:20 or 5:50 Trails End. We are going to Typhoon Lagoon that day. I have two boys 10 & 6. Which would you do? If I do Trails End will I be near (location & time-wise) the campfire stuff at FW? If so, is it worth checking out? Are there any characters at 1900 that boys will care about?

Also I just got availability at Spoodles. Is that worth doing? We will have been to AK that day.

Should I just skip Rainforest Cafe at AK. I got a reservation - but all reviews here say it is terrible.

Trails End would put you near the campfire program ... just a short bus ride or a 1/2 mile walk away. It might be the perfect setting for a casual day (waterpark + campfire).

I vote for Trails End unless your boys really want to go to Cinderella's Royal Feast which is what 1900 PF has for dinner. My 14 and 11 yr. old sons are very good about putting up with princess dining for the sake of their little sister (and mom). If you want characters, then Chef Mickey's would be a better supper for boys (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald). Mine loved it!

I've never been tempted by Spoodles, so I can't comment on it. If you don't have Rainforest Cafe near your home, then I'd go there. We've been several times up in MN at the Mall of America and also in Galveston, TX, so we never bother with it in Orlando wanting to do something different instead. It really fits with the AK theme, though.

While in AK, I'd recommend Tusker House for lunch (or dinner if you're not on the dining plan). We consistently get good food there.
