chocolate slipper at contemporary

i read on another post that you can get the glass slipper and dog bones at califonia grill is this correct?

i have made a ps for grand floridian cafe just so that i can have the glass slipper for my birthday but i would much rather make a ps for CG and time it so we see whises as well

can someone please tell me is this true

I think you mean the chocolate slipper -- I'd hate to see what'd happen if you tried to eat a glass one.

But seriously, you can order the Slipper Dessert from any of the GF restaurants. I think you need to call in advance -- at least 24 hours ahead of your meal -- to order it.

It is a white chocolate slipper and can be filled with white or chocolate mousse. There are 4 red raspberries for the "buttons." It used to be served on a large white plate with a chocolate teardrop and an imprint of Cindy's castle in cocoa. I've heard recently this changed to an edible type of plate (lite chocolate, still has the imprint of the castle.

It's a beautiful dessert and a shame to eat it. But if you like chocolate, it is yummy.

i have them on order at the GF cafe,but my question was can you get them at the contemporay,i am sure i read on here that another poster had them at california grill

I hadn't heard that you could get them at CG, I was told that they couldn't leave the GF. I'd just call up the manager at CG and ask them! Or the GF bakery, since they are the ones who make them and would have to deliver them for you.

Let us know what you find out!

I have heard on here that you can have the slippers at CG( we prob read the same post) Your best bet would be to call the CG and maybe they can put you through with a chef ... or call and see if the Contemporary has a bakery or dining services. try searching through posts on the slipper and you will find the person I am thinking of and maybe you can send them a private message. Good luck.

ds ordered one for me at YC - said he went down to the front desk and politely asked if he could order one as a surprise for his mom - they were apparently so touched (as was I) that they picked up the phone and helped him order it for our room! we went off to the park that day and upon return there it was - talk about a teary eyed, very surprised Mom!!!!!! he told me they let him pay cash since he did not want to charge it to 'Mom's account'. It sounded like with 24 hours notice you could get one!

i have got one on order and also the dog bone dessert but i had to make a ps for the grand floridian cafe,but i would have rather had one at CG or had it to take away to our room,but we are staying at all star movies i don't think you can have them here and every time i try and ring the number i can't get through and have to leave a message but i'm sure they won't ring back to the uk
