As i was looking through the food pics i noticed cholocate covered strawberrys that looked like tuxedos. I know it's probably not possible but by any chance can you get those at Pop Century?

No - as far as I know the Value resorts do not have them. If you'd like them though, you can order them from the GF bakery, but you'd have to go over there and pick them up. ( I do not think they will deliver them to other resorts, but you can ask.)

Hope this helps!

Are they available at SSR? I've heard that they can be ordered at the front desk of (some?) of the deluxe resorts; not sure if SSR is included. How far in advance must you order? How much are they? Thanks!

As far as I know, the only way for sure that you can get chocolate covered strawberries is from room service at the deluxe resorts. You might also find them at Seashore Sweets at the Boardwalk, or Goofy's Candy Company at DTD Marketplace. Not sure about that, though.

You might also be able to order them from the GF bakery, but you can't pick them up and take them somewhere else. Generally, the resort bakeries (with the exception of the Boardwalk Bakery), will only serve cakes or other special-ordered dessert items in one of the resort's restaurants. Except for the Boardwalk, there's no actual 'bakery' that you can go to and buy things. It's just a part of their kitchen.

You can get them individually at Goofys and I got one at a bakery in MGM, but I can't remember which one. They are very good, but i'm not sure it had the tuxedo pattern on as I think it was just plain chocolate.

They can be bought at Goofys and Mainstreet Confectionary at MK. They don't have the tuxedo-pattern. There's a picture on the DIS somewhere, I was sold immediately. ;-) You can use a snackcredit for them, according to the snackcredit-topic. Let's see if I can find it again. Tadaaaaaaa

mmm. They are fabulous! I have gotten one at goofy's before. I'm thinking you can get them a few different ways there, but I dont' think I have seen them as tuxedos. I would have gotten a tuxedo one if they had it, so I'm pretty sure they didn't.

MGM is where we always get a berry or two. I don't remember the name of the shop either but it's just around the corner off the main street. Go in on main street and hang a right at the fountain. The shop is on the left....they sell fudge, cookies and some specialty treats like the chocolate covered strawberries.

Got a hankerin' for one right now!! :woohoo:

I had planned on ordering some of these for our wedding night. We are staying at VWL. I know it says deluxe resorts, does the VWL count? Can I order them from private dining there? :confused3

Sure, VWL's room service is really WL's room service. You'll be able to get your strawberries, no problem. Congrats on your upcoming wedding! :)

Does anyone know if they are available through room service at SSR??

SSR does not have room service, so I can't think of any way that you'd be able to get them from the resort. But....you're just a short boat or bus ride away from the DTD Marketplace, where Goofy's Candy Company is located. You can get them there.
