Chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches?

Have to say that I really miss the chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches at the world. I know I can have a homemade one from the bakery but I really liked the ones from the icecream carts. I searched everywhere in May & nothing. The icecream is still from Nestle but no sandwiches As anyone seen them lately. We heading back in Sept & hope they've made a return. Funny how you just got fixated on having that certain something from Disney. p.s. I think you can get them at your local convience store but it's not the same!!!

Sleepy Hallow in the MK makes the most yummy ice cream sandwich we have ever had...The chocolate chip cookies are warn and the ice cream is premium...Best of all, it is on the plan as a snack...We get one every time we go.

Oh no, they did away with the ice cream sandwiches -but they are my favourites. Am I correct in thinking you can pick your own cookie and flavour of ice cream if you get one made at Main Street Bakery? ANyone knows how much these are?

Yum, we did this last month!! I think there were two cookie choices -chocolate chip or oatmeal and raison. Didn't get a choice on icecream though, just got vanilla. This is a picture of mine at the front of the tray- oatmeal and raison - its huge!

you can use a snack credit for the ice cream cookie sandwich at main st. bakery.. we do it every year.. it is big and we usually split because of the size and it melts pretty quickly

I too like the ones in the cart much better too. I have tried the ones on Main Street Bakery. The cookie was so hard I do think the were baked two weeks before. I will never do that again. Can someone please confirm if they have brought back the ones in the fronzen carts?

I miss these too! I searched all over Epcot at the carts and ended up with the cookies and creme sandwich instead - not as good IMHO. They don't even have them available at the resorts anymore either.

I know I can probably find them in a store here at home, but it was a special treat I let myself have when we're on vacation.

Yup, those are the ones! I don't want them at walgreens, I want one while I walk through AK in the sun on vacation!!!

I buy them at my local Super Wal-Mart. My treat at home that brings back great Disney memories.

What a tragedy!! I always used my snack credit to get one and was so looking forward to getting them on our next trip in Sept. We get them here locally too, but as was said, it is so not the same.

i love these fresh ice cream sandwichs every trip we go to sleeply hollows and eat one siiting on the bridge, we make such a mess!!! love them thou.

there mine equilent to the dole whip!!! lol
