Hello, everyone...I got home yesterday from a stay at Port Orleans Riverside and thought I would pose a question to possibly get some feedback:

I absolutely love the chocolate chip cookies served at the food court bakeries - specifically at Port Orleans and the All Star resorts - and wanted to find out if anyone knows the recipe. (I'm guessing it's a well- kept secret.) But any information at all about the baking process would be helpful, such as: Disney make their own cookie dough or is it shipped to the resorts? Anyone have the inside "scoop" (so to speak)?

Thanks to anyone who responds with relevant information.

The best cookie deal at the Riverside Mill food court is the cookie ice cream sandwich. You get two huge cookies and a lot of ice cream for only 5.29, while the cookies alone are 2.99 each. Also, the ice cream sandwich is offered as one snack credit just the same as a single cookie. You choose your ice cream flavor and they scoop it fresh. It's a very large snack fit for two big sweet eaters.

:welcome: To Disboards! I just noticed this is your very first post.

Thanks for the welcome, Ensusieasm. My brother and I are somewhat obsessed with those chocolate chip cookies and how they're made. I'd love to hear any information the community may have about them.
