It was pointless -- and that family that stayed at the cabins -- did you notice the mom was always stuck with the baby while the boys and dad did the fun stuff? And she was always cooking meals! What kind of vacation was that for her???

Okay, rant over. Still trying to figure out how it was Disney on a Dime...

I know I am a week like on this conversation but....

When I saw the family talk about how they were going to save money by cooking I told my husband that everyone looked happy about it but the mother. :mad:

I totally agree -- when I go on vacation, I go on vacation to escape chores and spend time with my family -- cooking doesn't figure into the equation unless we are staying at a beach house, and I feel like it. At Disney, there is no way!

Totally!!! Other than a quick bowl of cereal, that's all the kitchen labor I plan on doing when on vacation. :thumbsup2

Second, Sorry you feel rotten. Hope you feel better soon.

Third, Enjoyed the Williamsburg pictures. Would you believe Williamsburg/DC is our next years vacation? Whenever we bring up Disney to DD (14) she gets a snotty :snooty:

look on her face and talks about how she wants to go to Washington DC. DH and I were living in Virginia when she was conceived. We did make it to Williamsburg before we moved back to Missouri. I am looking forward to returning. I guess some how the Virginia water got into DD's system and she won't let it go. Hopefully :snooty:

will go away once we get there.

You know, I've been to Colonial Williamsburg at least twice and both times I never paid. For those that don't know, you can walk around without paying admission (at least, you could when I went years ago). You just couldn't go into any of the buildings. My ex and I were very poor when we lived in Virginia

I did go to Bush Gardens once, though. That was back in the day when I could go on thrill rides without being super scared or get dizzy

You can still walk around without paying admission. Admission is just to get into the buildings.

I've never been to Busch Gardens. But then again, I'm not into thrill rides.
