*Chocolate and Pixie Dust* - An August 2008 TR- 8/29 pg 6: Sort of an update

Like someone else said I'd go for a Coral Reef Diver :) you could also see about getting them buttons... I think they do anniversary buttons :) you could also to custom shirts (iron on type) that say it :) or if u wanna be real fancy u can try and do chef's table at V&A for the 2 of em :thumbsup2

for DTD we usually do World of disney and that's about it, this year we are going to try Disney Quest too and check out the Lego store :goodvibes

I think the Coral Reef is a great idea. And so are the buttons. Let's see if my dad wears the button :lmao:

I may get crafty and make some tshirts. Or order them.

The Chefs Table at V&A is a great idea too. Let's see if I can get ressies.

We may try Disney Quest also. I just hope it doesn't look like a Disneyfied Chuck E Cheese.

Ok DISers, I know you have the answer to these two questions:

1. What's the best place to order custom t-shirts?

2. Are there places besides the Walt Disney World Florist to order gift baskets?

Oh and if you're a lurky loo, join in. We have nightly cocktail hours :lmao:

I went to an all girls Catholic HS. Co-ed wasn't an option

I love the Flat Stanley pics!!! They're great :)

Would you believe DH and I were the ones who were pushing for the Co-Ed?! ;) Really! The all girls was a bit "much" for me. But we let her make the decision, and she made the right one for her.

Make sure you post your "life size Flat Stanley" photos!! :goodvibes

I love the cruise idea for your parents.... But ALL the ideas sound great! :lovestruc

I have to upload the life size Flat Stanley photos tonight.

I loved my HS. But it really depends. Girls can be catty at that age.

What's Basin?? What's Basin??? You mean you haven't been to Basin yet??? It bath supplies galore...I usually spend $50 or more on their "home made" soaps that you buy by the pound (they come in bar size...they are just priced by weight). They smell so good and have really cute designs... like if it smells like strawberries then it will have soap strawberries inbedded in it.

I'm currently out of Basin soap...either I didn't buy enough the last time I was there or it's been too long between trips.

I haven't been to Basin. But after your description, it's a must do!
I love great smelling soaps and bath things. I could probably pick up a few gifts there. My credit card better hide.

Ok, I'm here. Where's the cocktails?
:cool1:
...I just arranged for a Coral Reef diver and the menus. It was free and very easy to do- you basically just email them the info and pics and then they get back to you to confirm and suggest some cute "disney" quotes you can use.

The cocktails are coming up. Lapu lapus are very popular here. Ever had one?

The Coral Reef diver and menus sounds so great! I think I'll call tomorrow and see if I can get an ADR!

The looks I got while I took these photos.... LOL
:rotfl2: :lmao: I would have loved to see u doing this.

La Nouba for the two of them is a great idea.
I'll be stuck alone with my nephew :scared1:
u could go with him to disneyquest while they r there.
or u could bring him to Poly, drop him off at the Neverland club and then go have some Lapus.

Disney Quest would be a good option while they're at La Nouba.

Or I can brave the crowds and go to the MK with him alone :scared1:
I'll be armed with his stroller, so I'll be safe.

I'm thinking the Poly may run out of pineapples in August. I showed my mom a pics of Lapu Lapus and she wants one now. My dad, on the other hand, keeps asking when he has to take off from work :scared1:

I checked the zazzle website and it looks great. I'm going to order some tshirts.

I'll check out Betsy.

I'm really hoping for P&PP in August. Your tr has sold me on the idea of getting tickets to this.

Ok, I'm here. Where's the cocktails?
:cool1:
Compliments of Le Cellier tonight, for starters:

I would definitely send Stanley to you. You can have fun with him :thumbsup2
Please do. I will bring them to one of our classrooms, and they'll give good ideas too...

I've never had a lapu lapu, but last night I read PrincessV's TR and now I really, really feel a craving for pineapple. And booze.
:drinking1

Thanks!

It was actually a life saver...my friend's teenage daughter used all the oil in the sugar scrub while I was teen/house-sitting. We freaked out because we knew the mom would be heated when she got home and all the oil was gone...so we ordered it and had it delivered...no one was the wiser...until we told her what happened...that was in august...and I just had to buy a new one for her birthday.

Me neither...but they are quite popular...I would like to try one as well!
