*Chocolate and Pixie Dust* - An August 2008 TR- 8/29 pg 6: Sort of an update

:thumbsup2

I'll call you TourGuideJordan :)

I have a question for you Jordan. From your tr, I know your single. Is dating in Southern California as horrible as dating in NYC?

The stuff I encounter, I could write a book :lmao:

I don't waste my money on dating anymore..I'd rather go to a hockey game. does that pretty much answer your question?

I mean where do you meet quality people anymore?

There's a mega church in south orange county that has a huge singles group, but it's also in south orange county. Have you seen Real Housewives of the OC...? Lots of beautiful people with lots of money. Im not beautiful and I'm poor.

C'mon! Don't you remember the song "Uptown Girl" by Billy Joel??? I bet you are just what some rich, bored, beautiful young thing is looking for!

I think it's much easier to just hang out.

What amazes me is that without fail I always meet a weirdo. I went out on ONE date with someone in January and he still calls and says he wants to get married and have kids :lmao: And I thought I needed to be medicated!

I've seen Real Housewives of the OC. Those people are not my cup of tea.

So TourGuideJordan, what days are green days? :lmao:

Didn't Billy Joel drive his car through someone's house after a drinking binge? I wonder what kind of music he's writing now:confused3

I tell DH that I don't think I could ever date again (if something happened to him) because I would pick the weirdos without fail!!! I feel your pain!!!

Well, luckily I have an exbf that will drunk dial me. Can always count on him when the weirdos get out of control :rotfl2: At least for protection anyway :rolleyes1

The entire tri-state area is bad :lmao:

The clubs in the city are pretty ridiculous. Plus, I'm done with the hair gel and the tight black tshirts. This isn't the Sopranos.

You'll be hearing a lot about Mr. Hotness ;)

That happens at all grade levels. My students have been drawing poop ever since we read Everyone Poops :scared1: We're learning about digestion :confused3

Christie hasn't been the same either. Since then, hasn't she had like 5 husbands???

Mr. Drunk Dial is 6'9'' so people are automatically afraid. But he's a bit of a teddybear. I have more fight in me :lmao: Well the exbf may not be ex for that much longer. But we shall see :rolleyes1

Oh and 8 more school days until Spring Break '08!!!!

  1. I am in a service organization that holds meetings at Villa Tuscano in East Quogue. Christie is there most tuesdays for dinner, and sometimes she donates to our fund raisers. It's pretty cool to see her.
  2. COOL, doing anything for SB'08?
  3. OOh...EXBF to become BF? Sounds good to me...:rolleyes1

That's so true! I made the mistake one day when my 8th graders were being gross and said (in my best stern teacher voice): "Fecal matter is never amusing." Yeah, that's a catch-phrase in my room now.

Seems like it!

1. That's great that she's involved in fund raising.

2. Not 100% sure yet, but suppose to head down to Colonial Williamsburg, Maryland, and Atlantic City. But right now I barely have the energy to get up to get the remote.

3. Quite possibly....IF he plays his cards right :lmao: Just wish he worked normal hours like normal people :sad2:

Thanks for the pixie dust! And to think I was going to return my Christmas present. You never know when someone's going to decide to grow up :lmao: Right now, the fact that he hates Disney is working against him.

And I like your catch-phrase.

My students constantly forget to throw their stuff away after snack and lunch. I have to constantly remind them that the maid is on an extended vacation. They say that to each other now :rotfl2:

NICE! I am planning on visiting scenic "my couch"land and colonial "pj's area"...hows that?!
