*Chocolate and Pixie Dust* - An August 2008 TR- 8/29 pg 6: Sort of an update

Just joining in on the action. I will actually be there the same time as you spliting Pop and Poly. We will be in the Poly from the 10-15 (waited for my pin code to kick in). Never stayed at a deluxe before so we are very excited!!! I heard a rumor that there are now Dole Whips at the Poly!!! If this is true I might not leave the resort at all!!! I do the whip thing because I cannot stand the idea that pineapple juice is taking up precious room in the cup!!!!

My family will have their LGMH somewhere on their bodies so hopefully we will see you there!!!

:welcome:

You'll love the Poly. It's so tropical and relaxing. You have to have Tonga Toast at Kona one morning for breakfast. It's so good.

Trying both the Dole Whip and Dole Float are my goals for this trip. You may find me having a Dole Whip, sitting by the pool, relaxing every afternoon!

Hope to see you in August!!!

I'm back at work. In about 10 minutes, 24 five year olds are going to charge into my classroom. Tonight, I'll update about the trainer situation and more toiletries!!! I may stop at Borders after work to buy a new guidebook. More photos tonight!!!

I like photos.

u tell those kids to be nice to you.

Note to self: Go to Bed. Bath, and Beyond and buy an ice cream maker.
PM me your email address and I"ll send you a link to a site that sells both! It is from a podcast I listen to, and he even made a video on how to make it! :)

Isn't it the greatest book??? I can't carry it in my bag or else my morning read aloud will end up being resort and restaurant descriptions!

Oh I remember Grease 2. I prefer the Travolta/Newton-John one.

I am addicted to bookstores. I can spend hours looking around Barnes & Noble and Borders. But the travel section is my absolute favorite. I buy guidebooks for almost every vacation I plan. Disney guidebooks are my favorite

Today, I visited Borders after work, but unfortunately no new books :sad2: So, I've decided to order some new ones online. If I order books from Barnes & Noble tonight, they'll be delivered tomorrow :woohoo:

So everyone, I need your help again. What books do you recommend? What should I order?

This is what I currently have:

I recommend these:

The Complete Guide to Walt Disney World 2008 (Paperback)
by Julie Neal (Author), Mike Neal (Author)

Mouse Map 2008: The Ultimate Walt Disney World Map Guide [Spiral-bound]
By: Anne S. Easterling (Author)

I got both at Amazon. I love the first one. It includes lots of history lessons, etc. Plus lots of beautiful pictures.

The second one is fun b/c it has some of the easiest to use/read maps I've seen.

I also bought some Imagineers' Guides at Borders. They are ok. A little TMI for me, but if you like alot of behind-the-scenes details, you get them.
