Anyone have any tips to getting Akershus breakfast for 5. Looking desperately for Nov 3. My DD is handicapped and doesn't eat but she wants to visit the Princesses. I missed out on my window to reserve and it is full due to free dining.

We've been running into the same problem. We booked our trip in June on a whim and rushed to get whatever ADRs we could for the Nov trip but I'm still trying to get a BOG breakfast and an anything Akershus for a party of 6. It is tough! I got one alert from touring plans the other day but I must not have been quick enough. Good luck. Keeping fingers crossed for you!

Hi everyone! I noticed a few posts today where people indicated specific dates and times they are looking for an ADR. Please edit your posts to remove specific dates. The cancellation thread does not allow want posts and so we can't post them here either. The moderator will come in and delete the posts from time to time as well.

I think November has been the toughest month for adrs that I have ever seen. It was tough at 180 days and never really improved

I would love to hear after your trips if anyone called day of and was able to score adrs. Hoping the cancellation policy will help some of you while you are there

I'm just worried the craziness with the ADRs for November, as well as how packed the resorts seem to be, means the crowd predictions are way off. The days I'm planning to be at the parks show 2-3 level crowds and that just seems impossible to me looking at the ADR and room availability. Do you have any thoughts on what this means for crowds?

I may have a couple ADRs I try to get the day before or day of on one of our park days. I'll let you know how that goes when I get back.

As far as the cancellation policy goes, to avoid the charge do people have to cancel 24 hours before the reservation time or is it midnight the day before?

Anyone know how long you usually wait to be seated at a character meal after you designated reservation time? I am trying to get a few of times a little later, but wondering if I should just leave them if there's usually a long wait to be seated.

I've read people say they've waited up to 20 minutes or so past their ADR time. Last November we were seated within 5 minutes of showing up (usually a few minutes early), even at Cinderellas and H&V. All depends on that day and restaurant I suppose!

I am also worried about crowds. We are a few weeks out and I have quite a few ADRs left to try and get. One of which is my daughter and son's #1 request. I have one of each but they are just little off on times. Hopefully something else opens soon.

Another thing I wish more guests would do is to call and Modify their party if they know certain folks are not going to join in on the meal. It is my understanding that you only get charged the $10 per person if your entire group does not show up. So many people may have reservations for six when in fact only four are going and don't cancel the other two opening up spots for people like me. Lol!!

I feel like I am always glued to my phone. Also, lately the weirdest thing has started to happen. I used to get emails right away when someone canceled on the cancellation board. Now I get them anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes later. I guess it's just my email/carrier. I will be so disappointed if something I am looking for gets cancelled and I miss it.

Either way, it's going to be a great trip and I am excited!

Hopefully you get everything lined up before you go!! And continue to check the day before meals to see if something opens up that lets you tweak your times.

I'm still really excited as well...just hoping the crowds aren't insane. We are 5 weeks away today!

Another person hoping crowds aren't crazy! We've been planning this trip for a while, we don't go to WDW often. I'm trying to use this as a lesson to relax, the trip will still be good even if I don't get the "right" ADRs! It's such a change from our last trip, which was a few years ago and planned three weeks ahead of time. We were able to snag amazing reservations with two weeks to go. Fingers crossed for all of us November travellers who are still looking!

I second that! Party of 6 here and I have 2 Beauty and the Beast fans in my house. This is our one and only trip of a lifetime as a family!
