Is it just me or does it feel like time is just zooming by?? We're almost at T minus 90 days and it seemed like last week we just booked!

So fast! I was almost 8 months out when I booked but now only 3 more months! That 5 months zoomed by and once school starts in September for us the time will go even faster I'm sure!! The only problem is I'm already sad about the trip being over. I hate leaving Disney. It definitely puts me in my sad place.

For us after Disney were usually tired and ready for home and needing a vacation from the vacation - hoping this year weather will cooperate and we'll get in some pool hours

I feel like it's zooming by. I feel pressured to have a fastpass plan before that 60day time comes around. I played around the touring plans last night and read mesaboy's fastpass thread. I'm completely overwhelmed! I don't even know what rides I want to go on, trying to find ones that isn't at Disneyland or rides that are at DL but better at WDW.

That's exactly how I felt when we left Aulani last year. I was on the verge of crying and still pretty sad about it right now. I never felt like that before when leaving any vacation spots...ever!

My hunt is still on for Liberty Tree Tavern - there is a two week period where I will have limited computer access and I am terrified they will pop up and disappear then...

looks like LTT will be opening Nov 20 .. At least that's the first day the calendar populates with when booking a reservation. Nothing available yet tho.

Want posts and trades are not allowed on the Disboards.

I assume the rules are to prevent people from having an unfair advantage for ADRs or manipulating the reservation system. With cancellations it's making it open to anyone when it's released. Even if you try to coordinate, someone may be waiting for your cancellation at the same time you are cancelling, but it still opens it for anyone checking at the same time.

Plus, I wouldn't put it past people to hoard good reservations to trade later and even sell if they could figure out a way.

Sorry, I'm a bit behind This is how I feel I want our trip to get here but I know it will fly by and then be over and I'll be sad. It's a catch 22.

Oh and on the topic of trades I don't know if anyone on here is in this group but there is an ADR group for November on FB. It became pretty obvious over the weekend that some people had booked Minnie dinners just to trade and get something they want. I'm glad the dis doesn't allow trades because that's the kind of thing that can happen not that everyone who wants to trade has done that but obviously some people do.

I shouldn't say it surprises me, because I assumed that's why trades aren't allowed here, but that is getting ridiculous! Seriously...

At least with cancellations you book and cancel based on what you think you need and then let people know the reservation is going back into the system. It's not to grab hard-to-get ADRs and hoard them so you can trade them for something you want at the expense of people who really wanting them getting them.

Maybe all the people with that mentality should realize that if they weren't trying to manipulate the system so much, maybe ADRs wouldn't be so hard to get.

I totally agree with you! The group allows trades but one of the admins posted this weekend about how hoarding and trading like that is rude and selfish (which of course some people got defensive about) but I think if you allow trades in your group that type of thing is bound to happen.
