I am not a great fan of the heat. Thankfully we live close enough to the Pacific ocean that if it gets unbearable we can run away there.

when it gets 75 degrees here it is unbearable. Fairbanks, which is about 400 miles north can get 100 degree's in the summer. But in winter they will get 65 degrees below zero. very cold. If you throw a glass of water in the air it will freeze before it hits the ground.

That it does. Maybe next year I'll attempt the 1/2 marathon. But I think starting with the 3 something miles that I know I can do is a good place to start. I'm so glad I thought about it and checked when registration was. Jason and I talked about it on NYE and registration started while I was down there!! But I'm all set and ready to go. I get to request the time off now in case I'm still at Target. My boss is telling me to get in any requests I want now since she's going on maternity leave and we'll be sure to get it off since we don't know who will be taking over.

I attempted to read the books, I could not get into them due to the way they were written. the way they talked kind of did me in. I understood it in the movie, but reading it was a bit much. Yes, people did read the Da Vinci Code and really believed what they were reading. As my son says, "sheep" they will believe anything. I was highly amused by that!

I try not to touch Stephen King movies lol

Jazz, so awesome bout the marathon. I can't stand running. I'll dance, weight lift, and swim all day. Running makes me cringe.

I think the hardest book I tried to read was the three musketeers, i couldnt get passed page 5, and I can speak/read French.

I went to Frys Electronics today. I got some lable software for my movies and Chocolat. It's available on blue ray yet, neither are the 1st 3 Indiana Jones movies.

Yesturday hubby was all "I don't care about money, we do just fine with you staying home". Today "we don't have the money". He says I have a spending habit. I spent $20 on my son. The stuff at frys was bought with a gift card. I'm confused.
