ChipnDale Campfire Question

Hi! 1st timer here, can't wait! Staying at WL Sept.10-14I was wondering if anyine knows what time the campfire and movie will start in September. Thanks in advance, Angie

The campfire is not at WL. It's at FW. When you check in they will give you some info for FW events as well. Also do some research or post about movie schedule for Chip and Dale. Someone will either post a link or post the movies and the dates with times for you. I'm thinking we might do this, but I don't know....

Thank you for clarifying that for me! We plan to do the campfire movie our arrival day after dinner at Concourse. I wasn't sure what time to make PS to make sure we got to the campfire in time. I ended up with a 5:30pm PS. So even if the campfire starts at 7pm, maybe we'll have time to go and enjoy it before the movie begins!

The Campfire Program is open to all WDW resort guests. It generally begins around 7:00 pm during the fall/winter season and 8 pm after the time changes in April through the summer. It is held near the Meadow Trading Post in the campfire area. The program begins with a sing-a-long led by a Disney CM and a marshmallow roast around two campfire rings. You may bring your own marshmallows or buy them at the Chuckwagon (roasting sticks and marshmallows are $2). You may also buy pizza, hot dogs, candy, nachos, juice, popcorn, cokes, coffee, beer and other refreshments at the Chuckwagon. While this is going on, Chip and Dale make an appearance to visit with guests and sign autographs. The sing-a-long lasts about 30 minutes. Next, one or two Disney animated features, depending upon the season, are shown on a large outdoor screen. Seating is available in bleachers or on benches. There is also plenty of room to lay out a quilt or blanket. The movie schedule is posted at all comfort stations. In the event of rain, the sing-a-long is still held on the porch of the Meadow Trading Post.

Just got back from our trip, 7/2-7/10 and we did the singalong. Had a blast. What they told us was to call 5 days prior to find out he times. It varies. the singalong started for us at 8:00 and the movie was a 8:40, but it gets darker earlier in September so you'll need to check. You can walk from the WL...we have before. It's tons of fun! There's a great CM there, her name is Sundee. She sings and leads the crowd before the movie. I have to have Sundee or I just won't go.

Check the camping board for the movie schedule. It is posted near the end of the month for the next month. We camp at FW and love the campfire.
