Has anyone been to this? What is it like? We are planning on eating a Chef Mickey's our first night and were thinking about heading over to FW after dinner to do the campfire. We figured it would be a low key thing to do for our first night, instead of trying to visit a park like we did last year (BIG mistake). :headache: If you didn't like the campfire.. what else do you guys recommend for the first evening? :confused3

We were soo excited to do this for the first time. Unfortunately it started to rain and thunder, our first night. A nice couple had tried for 4-5 nights in a row to do it but it was cancelled due to rain.

I thought it was very cute and well done (all but the fact there are no signs directing you to the fire). They had two large pits a good distance away from each other and the chuck wagon sold marshmellows, sticks and hot dogs. It did take a while in that line though. During the campfire Chip and Dale come out (close to the movie time) and they do a sing-a-long. Then play the movie. It was started to rumble just a little too much for my liking so we didn't stay for the movie. But I would definitely do it again-BEST PART-----IT'S FREE!!!!

I was actually coming to the boards to post questions on this same topic! :) Does anyone know where I can get info on when it starts?
