Chip and Dale

Is there a restaurant, other than Garden Grill, that has these two characters? Cannot get a reservation at Garden Grill the whole time we'll be in Disney. Or is there a location where Chip and Dale are for a meet and greet?

Not restaurants, and I can't say that they are always there, but we ran into them in Epcot near opening time and got pictures with them.
We also saw them at the Ft. Wilderness campfire, but they don't pose and sign there. Just go around shaking hands etc.

We've seen plenty of them at Epcot & MK. They tend not to be in the character greeting spots from our experience, but we never have any trouble finding them. If you stay for evening EMH at MK they are often at Fanasy Land near the Carousel and also around the back of the castle. If you stop and ask at Guest Services on the way into the park they should be able to tell you where they are.

When we were there last year, Chip & Dale were at MK... when you enter, they were in a little area left of the rotary (looking down Main Street, with your back to the train station).

Our LO saw them in one of the parades and got sooo excited that we had to track them down for her. =)

Maybe you could try a walk-up at Garden Grill for an early dinner?

Chip and Dale are regularly patrolling near Town Hall Exposition Hall on Main Street, U.S.A., especially in the early morning right after the Magic Kingdom opens. I have also seen the chipmunks in the rotation at Character Connection greeting area near Innoventions in Epcot. According to AllEars, they are also near the entrance of Disney's Hollywood Studios, but I don't recall seeing them there too often.

Chip & Dale are all over the nightly Campfire at Fort Wilderness. Don't think that is an official meet and greet but they do appear.

Have also seen that they appear at Chef Mickey's.

Thank you all for the info.! It sounds very promising. I was thinking that we might be out of luck. I've got a nephew who will surely be on the hunt for them - sounds like he's got a good chance of seeing them.

I also met Chip & Dale in Epcot in one of those instantaneous appearances. They were also at Mickey's Backyard BBQ when I went, but that is pricier than The Garden Grill.

I've seen Chip and Dale numerous times in Epcot. When you're walking from the fountains toward The Land, just before you get to the wait time board, look to your left. There's an area that doesn't look like much more than an extra pathway, but I've seen them there several times over the last year, different seasons.

They apparently teletransport themselves pretty well, as once we saw them in the Garden Grill when we were leaving the Land Pavillion, and when we got to that area outside, they were already there...

We ate at Liberty Tree Travern for lunch in early February and they had Chip, Dale, Minnie and Goofy at the restaurant. I do not know if they are still doing character meals (I believe they were doing so then because Cyrstal Palace was being refurbed) but it doesn't hurt to check. If so, they would be there.

At the end of March, we saw them at MK and EPCOT. At MK, as son as you walked under through, there was a meet and greet. In EPCOT, they were behind Innovations(also there during Christmas '08).

You are correct in that the Liberty Tree Tavern character meals were only temporary during the Crystal Palace rehab. They have been discontinued.
