Any opinions on the CHip and Dale Character Breafkast at the Storyteller's Cafe? Anyone know what the price of the buffet is? Can you order items off of the menu as well?

Thanks!

We went there last year over Thanksgiving, as with all the buffets it is pricey - somewhere between $20-$30 per person, and I think kids over three were $15 or so. I do believe there are certain things you can order off the menu - but I don't remember that really saving you any money either. This was a neat "woodsy" breakfast, there were sightings from brother bear and lion king. This one was more of a "hi', "hug" and "photo" from the characters - compared to the Lilo and Stitch where the kids had a place to go and play, and interact with the characters a bit more.

We are going this October, and while we are staying at the GCH, we will be crossing the street and doing Stitch again (DS loves stitch) -

We love love love the Storyteller's breakfast. We have always had great interaction, but it varies just like any character meal. The food is great, the portions are huge. I cannot figure out why people order the buffet. I can't even finish the regular breakfast by myself and it only costs us about $40 for the 4 of us that way. I would never pay for the buffet there.

Think of it this way, if a kids buffet is $11, you can get a whole kids meal for $5.99! Also if an adult buffet is over $20, my favorite adult meal is only $10.99. It definitely saves you money.

yeah I did the buffet and it was a waste of $$ ...I didnt like the food and I probably would have enjoyed it better just ordering off the menu... but the coffee was awesome...the service was good as well...to me its more for boys than girls but thats my opinion...the place was nice but its one of those things...had never done it and had to try at least once....I did....Im over it

I was hoping to go there and get Chip and Dale to autograph a book I bought for my grand-daughter and then get our picture taken with them. Do they spend that much time at a table where I would be able to do this?

They came to our table quite a bit but we were one of the only two tables in the restaurant (super early during off season!) Otherwise you can visit them up front, they stand near the doorway a lot to greet people as they enter too!

When we went great food, though if I did it again I would order off the menu and not do the buffet. Very few characters, but good interaction with the ones that were there. I found that I prefer the character photos in the park as opposed to those at the character breakfast, better backgrounds, no half eaten food on the tables, etc.

We love storytellers!! We ate there on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and again this past June. Both times we got the first seating of the day and got great character interaction. We did the buffet because the variety was awesome! We've just learned to accept the buffet prices for what they are at Disney. My DD loves Chip & Dale, plus we saw Koda, Kenai, Turk and Meeko. We love the woodsy feeling and sitting by the fire.
