I posted a thread on here a few weeks ago about recommendations for NYE, anyway after phoning Disney and trying to get reservations for either The Rose and Crown or Le Celler (hope thats right) i found out that they were all booked up!!! (don't panic and i told you so springs to mind).
Had another family discussion about NYE, and everyone is dead set on spending it in Epcot. So we've decided to have a meal in ???????? (oh God, i've forgotten the name of the place) anyway it's a Chinnese restaurant in Epcot. Has anyone ever ate here and is it o.k (too bad if it is'nt just won't tell the others)

We ate in there last week, it was delicious,
just hope you are better with chopsticks than i am, luckilly they put forks and knives out also, or i would still be sitting there now trying to finish my meal!!!! :lmao:

Sounds as though you have made a good choice :thumbsup2

We are planning on eating there on our trip - menu looks good = the americans dont rate it too high though - but the photos look really good :thumbsup2

I think sometimes our american cousins can be over critical,
the thing i looked at when i was in was there were plenty of chinese folks in there chomping away, always a good sign i reckon! and it tasted great, pork something or other i had, Yummy. :thumbsup2

I have eaten their before and really enjoyed it! Lovely food and a great atmosphere, perfect for NYE!

We loved it, great food and atmosphere. They have so much on their menu that they have something for all tastes.

We always enjoy our meals there. The Americans on here often say that it's no better than Chinese food they get anywhere else but it's certainly nothing like the food I get back here! Also, I had a Chinese takeaway while I was over in the summer and it was totally disgusting, inedible in fact. Just bad luck I suppose though.

My favourite dish is Honey Sesame Chicken which is very sweet but crispy and delicious. Also good are Kung Po Chicken and General Tso Chicken.

One tip - if you go during the day before the dinner hours start (before 4pm I think) you get much the same choice of food but for less cost. Although as you want it for NYE you may prefer dinner. Just thought I'd mention it anyway ;) .

We went to the Chinese in Epcot twice as we liked it so much!

We really liked it, and it is nothing like the average Chinese. Probably the Americans who live in larger cities get good Chinese food, which is why they rate it average.

We might be more critical of Indian food for example...
