Chinese Mickey?

My Mum has just come home from a holiday in China and has given me this bag. I thought the ears on Mickey looked a bit odd but then I saw it wasn't Mickey at all.

I thought Mikey was a spelling mistake until I saw Mimi!!

I'm still not sure if this is what they are really called in China or if it is just blatant copying. As I said before - it's the ears that make me suspicious.
