The scenery around the MK is beautiful though it does overwhelm the park itself

Mulan is quite a focus in shows..

All ends in typical fireworks that involve lots of fire as well...

All in all had an enjoyable full day there despite the compactness of the park .. though we did have a beautiful dinner break in the Disneyland Hotels signature restaurant..

Looks great, looking forward to reading the trip report. :thumbsup2

Wow, great pictures! You're right the lovely natural scenery does overshadow MK a little :) We're hoping to do Hong Kong and Tokyo Disneylands so i'll be eagerly awaiting your TR.

i was just going to post the same, cant wait to hear more.
going to visit my brother in OZ next year, but may take a detour to visit one of the parks :goodvibes

Lovely photos - my brother went to HK disney last October and was there for there for the Halloween party (which looked great!). He just couldnt get over how small the buildings heights were especially the castle - it looked tiny!

Its actually an exact copy of Anaheims but I dont really understand the Imagineers thinking here (apart from cost). It simply ends up looking even smaller than than the Original Californian castle because of the effect of the mountains.

Glad to see you are posting here, too, and giving people a chance to find your excellent blog.

Jackie, great cheer position. I do wonder what Chinese people make of High School Musical--or American high schools, for that matter.

I am impressed with the sway you have when you visit a Disney park. You two are the only people I've ever known who've had a private Jungle Cruise.

Great pics, thaks for sharing :)

I've been hoping to find a TR on Disney HK for ages, as we are going to have a day there in November as part of our Honeymoon.

Can't wait now!

Dan great to see you posting here and sharing your beautiful photographs.
I'm eagerly anticipating the accompanying TR :thumbsup2

Did you go to China through an organised tour?

Hey, Danny :wave2:

Thank you for sharing your stunning photos here. I'm looking forward to more of the same and your trippies.

I will start on the TR as soon as I can.. Jackie kept a good diary thankfully.. Thanks for all the nice comments.

I had a look at the rest of your wonderful photos and cannot believe all the locals wanting to take photos of "westerners" really amazing.
