Has anyone used the as seen on TV chilly towels?? Considering them for our trip in 2 weeks... We get grumpy when hot!!! Lol
they have them at our walmart for $8. Think I will test it out this week too and see if it would be worth it!Subbing! I just ordered one to "test run" this summer! If we'll order more before our trip! Would love to hear from disers!
so they remain cool even with regular water and not cold water. That was one of my concernsWe used Frogg Togg cooling towels in August. (Same thing different brand.) They were great. We actually bought 3 for our family of 5, just cut them in half long ways. They really did keep us cool and it was convenient to just re-wet them in the nearest restroom sink.

I just saw these at Home Depot or something similar.
Years ago I made for a fundraiser some neck wraps that have water absorbing crystals in them. They worked great and I know there was a group making them and sending them to the military.
Now you have me curious to try these. When I went to Disney last November I was having a difficulty with a red rash on my legs. I read on here and other places that it's called "Golfers rash" and sometimes "Disney rash".
I bet these towels will be helpful on my legs at night if I get this rash again.
Thanks for posting.
I picked up a towel at the dollar store but haven't used it yet.
I also get a red rash on the bottom on my legs. I didn't know it was given a name. I find if I put sunscreen on my legs that seems to help
I just bought the frogg towels today. We leave Sunday so I will post how they are. As far as cutting them did it ruin the "material" that makes it cold??We used Frogg Togg cooling towels in August.
