But the morning traffic is incredible. That is why moving close would be best.

Oh... so Montreal is just like Washington DC. I'm only 30 miles west of DC, but it could easily take 1 hour to get there.

So no one has must bring movies on a Disney vacation? Doesn't have to be a Disney movie though. As long as it's fun

The first movie I am putting away to bring is............ the new Alice in Wonderland. I love it! Always loved that story. And I now have 5 t-shirts lol I think I almost have all the characters. I can post a pic if you guys want.

On my ipod I have - Hercules, Up! & Finding Nemo ... I love to watch a Disney movie or two on the flight over to Orlando!

Alice in Wonderland sounds like a good choice.. I'm yet to see the movie but it just came out on DVD/Bluray here on Friday so I think I'll be tempted to buy it soon!

Maybe some classics like Snow White, Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty?

I also like to listen to wdw audio guides (Lou Mongello's) on the way to Disney... completely gets me in the mood & I almost forget I'm on a plane - especially helps during turbulance

word of warning with Pixar films though.. I forget how funny some of the lines are (Nemo, Up!) & have often started giggling while watching them on my ipod - on busy commuter trains or aeropanes!

I find Johnny Depp creepy in Alice! well... he is always a little creepy to me but I do love him in Pirates. I'm just a fan of more classic leading men... like Jimmy Stewart and John Wayne!

We watched Alice for the first time yesterday and I have to say, I was really disappointed. Maybe I just wasn't in the right frame of mind to watch it but I found it very hard to follow. It was really loud but their voices were so soft, I couldn't understand what they were saying and it kind of dragged. It was a little odd for me and that's saying something because I am a HUGE Burton fan! I love odd....I just don't love odd that doesn't seem to have a purpose.

Well guys the gala is over and done with! We worked 10 months for it (like usual) so it feels great to be done and over with. Just a quick resume. The gala is the night were we give out prizes and scholarships. This year is the 40th anniversary of the school I work at. It was opened in 1969. So what we did, is that we had 2 future guys from 2069 who were going back in time to find out who had a certain prize in 1969. So we "traveled" into 2000, 1990, 1980, and finally 1970. We have our hostess chance into different clothes. The text was easy. The gala was always starting in the different years. And our final number was "Grease" with a glimpse of our futur guys who made a mistake and instead of going back to 2069, they were in 1950.

I am now exhausted.

But I started entering final grades. Got 2 classes out of 6 done. Saw some kids for the last time this week. Was sad. And was taken aback when a few came and told me that they loved their year, that I was great, and that they wanted to thank me. This never happened before. As I'm writing this, I wanna cry lol sappy me.

So now it's a sleepy saturday. I need to lie down, rest and sleep. My ankle is killing me.
