Chilli Jam

I was lucky enough to be given a food Christmas hamper and it contains Chilli jam - have you any ideas what you use it with??

I assume it's not to put on your toast (but perhaps I'm wrong!!)

I occassionally buy chilli jam, I would say more chutney than jam and can be used on fish, chicken, etc. Can be quite fiery though so wouldn't recommend it for your toast in the morning.

Aaah thankyou Perhaps use it as a bit of a glaze on chicken before cooking then - might be worth a try

Taste it first before putting it on your chicken. You will either like it or loathe it. I have used it as a dipping sauce for deep fried prawns and sometimes even put a bit on a cheese sandwich.

It doesn't say - it is a jar of 'Mrs Bridges' Chilli jam - ingredients sugar, red pepper puree, red chilli puree, red wine vinegar,onion, lemon juice and garlic puree!! (if that helps )

The idea of using it as a dip sounds nice - perhaps with mozzarella sticks?
