Their website has a special for a free $5 gift card with every $25 in cards you buy, plus the code, "holiday" is for Tivo subscribers for an additional $5 card, so $35 at Chilis for $25 (plus $3.50 or so shipping) Hope that helps someone. Others here have been so helpful to me.

This is an awesome deal. Thanks so much OP!!! And shipping is free for purchases between $50 and $200 if you select USPS standard shipping. I am a TIVO subscriber, but I don't think you have to be and that gave me the xtra $5 per $25 so for $50 I got... 2 $25 gift certificates and 4 $5 gift certificates. Be aware though that the $5 certificates are usually more like a coupon and they expire in March. :thumbsup2  :sunny: :cool1:  :cloud9: :woohoo:

I believe you can save the $3.50 by buying these at the resturant, too. We had a flyer about it in our paper last Sunday. The gift cards are good at Chili's, On the Border, Macaroni Grill and a fourth place I can't think of.

Great offer! Thanks for posting this, shipping was free on orders of $50 or more. I ordered $250 worth and that gives me an additional $100 free!

I read the fine print and the bonus cards can only be used in Jan. and Feb. That's fine with me. But, what I can't find is if there is a limit to how many of these bonus cards you can use at one time?
I need to buy a bunch of GC's for a restaurant and it may as well be Chilis if I benefit. But, will I only be able to use one $5 bonus card at a time?
I thought of this because I noted on e-Rewards you can get $25 in Steak and Ale GC's but only $5 can be used per visit.
I am planning to buy $200 in GC's -- so since I'm a Tivo subscriber I guess I would get $80 in GC's. That almost seems to good to be true -- trying to see if there is a catch. (Plus, it would seem odd to pay a whole check with a bunch of $5 GC's--but oh well)

Edited: yes, it is too good to be true. Understand that the $5 bonus card with $25 purchase of Gift Cards is more of a coupon and not a $5 gift card. You can use one bonus card in Jan and/or Feb for every $25 you spend. Still, not a bad deal, you can save a few dollars with coupons.

I think the other restaurant not mentioned is Maggiano's. I think this is a great deal too...and their gift cards are so cute...I love giving them to people...thanks for the tip!!

IHOP is doing that this year also. For every 25.00 gift card get a 5.00 gift card. Its really a great deal..

Barnhill's is too. They have different amounts depending on the purchase price, but I particularly remembered that if you bought $75, you got $25. If I lived near them, I'd sure buy it.

We just ate in Chilli's and got this deal - buy a $25 gift card, get a $5 card free. Just to let you know, the $5 card is cardboard -- not that harder plastic that the other regular gift cards come in. I mean, a free $5 is still $5, but I was surprised that the card was "different" feeling.

Also, we did this last year and after purchasing a bunch, were disappointed to find out you can only use ONE card per visit, so in other words, we had like 5 of the $5 cards and I was thinking we could combine them, but you can't, so it wasn't the great deal we initially thought for us since we'd have to go 5 x to use them....

I sure hope they have changed the rule this year. As I posted earlier I called our local Chili's and was told I could use as many as I want per visit. But, after reading about this experience, I shot off an email to Chili's corporate gift card customer service center asking the question. When I receive a reply, I will post.

Could somebody who's actually gotten the $5 bonus see what (if any) restrictions apply, and post here?

Don't forget if you use the code in the op you get 2 bonuses, so $10. :sunny:

I responded to a PM about this, but I'll post here too. The back of my Chilli's bonus card says this:

"Present this bonus card for $5.00 off of your food and drink purchase at any participating Chilli's, Romano's Macaroni Grill, On the Border Mexican Grill and Cantina, or Maggiano's Little Italy restaurant in the US. THIS BONUS CARD IS VALID BETWEEN January 1, 2007 - February 28, 2007. THE BONUS CARD EXPIRES ON FEBRUARY 28, 2007. Multiple bonus cards can be used on the same check. LIMIT ONE (1) BONUS CARD FOR EACH $25 DOLLARS IN FOOD AND DRINK PURCHASED PER VISIT. The bonus card may be used only one (1) time and applied to only one (1) check. The bonus card is good for up to $5.00 off any meal at a participating restaurant but excludes alcohol and gratuity. The bonus card is not valid in combination with any other discount or offer. Recipient is responsible for any applicable taxes and fees associated with any restaurant visit. Bonus card may not be exchanged for cash, sold, transferred or reproduced and must be presented and relinquished at time of redemption. Any unauthorized reproduction, sale or transfer constitutes fraud. Void if lost or stolen."

At first it sounds as if you can use multiple bonus cards per visit, but then I think what it really means is that for every $25 of your check (not counting alcohol), another bonus card can be used. For example, if my table spent $100 on Chilli's food, I could use 4 bonus cards towards the total. That really means you can't go for a free dinner by using 5 cards at once and paying your whole bill with the bonus cards.

We eat at Chili's a lot! Last year I purchased $100.00 worth of gift cards for our family. We got 4 $5.00 gift cards for free. Last year, the stipulations was that only one $5.00 card could be used on a bill. So, even if your bill was $100.00, you could only use one card. (the can not be combined with any other offer stipulation). I also ordered a kid meal for my daughter for pick up and was told that they coupons were not good on kid meals. I haven't gotten ours yet this year so I'm not sure if the rules are still the same.

Don't get me wrong, it's still a good deal.

We like to stretch our gift cards out over time by paying 1/2 of the meal with a GC and the other 1/2 cash. It's not so bad going spending $25 cash and the other $25 on the GC. Does anyone else do the same?

We've also been getting Chili's To Go much more often instead of eating in the restaurant. Our bill is so much less since we're not paying for alcohol and a tip. The food still tastes the same.

Awesome deal, thanks!! Also, looks like they are offering free USPS shipping until 12/22! :thumbsup2

On the giftcard page, I noticed that free shipping was for orders between $50 and $200. Can you get free shipping on more than $200, or do you have to do multiple orders to still get the free shipping?

Thanks!!!

I got free shipping on my single $250.00 order, did not need to split it up. :yay:

Great! That makes this deal even better for us. :cool1: Thanks to the OP for posting this!

I just went to Macaronigrill.com and ordered their gift cards using this offer. I can get $60 worth of cards for only $50! Great deal! I couldn't find anywhere to enter a code for Tivo subscribers though. Anyone know?
