Chilean miners at WDW

In case anyone is interested......

My newspaper had a little blurb saying the miners and their families - about 160 people in all - will be at WDW for a week. They arrived yesterday 01/27. They will be the grand marshals for a special parade at the Magic Kingdom on Monday, 01/31.

I hope that all of them enjoy their stay. It is good that they are visiting.

I've heard they've been seen hanging out in Snow White's Adventure.

Thats great for them to be in the Happiest Place on Earth after such a stressful time. Hope they have a wonderful time

I saw a couple of them in MK yesterday, getting off Splash Mountain right after I rode it! They were still wearing their mickey hard hats

I saw those Mickey ear hard hats in the photos and love them! Do they sell those at the parks or were those made special for them?

I haven't seen them in any stores here so I'm pretty sure they were made special.
