Chile Mine Rescue, anyone else watching and sending pixie dust?

I'm seeing some *bigger* guys down in the mine. I hope they don't have any problems getting those guys out!

They had measurements before the pod was built. They have compression suits to assist as well. I can't imagine riding in that pod thing! Thank God for the rescuers who are risking their lives to help free these men.

No kidding! They still have as many to get out of that hole as when the rescue first started! I wonder if they'll send anyone else down there?

And Funkychunky.....there was a VERY hairy upper butt area and another guy was doing something where he was grabbing himself dramatically. :rotfl:

Aintcha glad I told ya? :p

That is three now? Wow, I watched it on the ABC live feed. This is amazing.

I hope that none of them have a problem with claustrophobia. I guess that you wouldn't if you're a miner though.

I probably missed it but approximately how long does it take for the capsule to get to the top?

I live in an area where the mines used to be underground. I've often been told that if you are claustrophobic you weren't a miner. LOL Even their trip up in that tube might not even be all that traumatic for them...the rides into the mines here are in small cramped elevators where you can see the rock wall as you pass it on your way down.

It appears to be taking approx 15 mins from *liftoff* in the mine to emerging at the top. But the entire process seems to be more like a little more than half hour/45 minutes between men, what with suiting up and getting the capsule back down into the mine.

I cry each time one comes out. Not sure I'll have enough tears for 29 more times! LOL Those families must be crazy happy!!!

I feel as if I am watching a miracle live on television. My prayers are with them all. I do hope each and every miner makes it to the surface healthy.

I felt that way when I saw the last miner. I think that this is truly a miracle.

I feel that way too about it being a miracle...isn't it cool?

I'm not going to make it for the 4th one, gotta get to sleep. I pray that when I wake up they will still be coming up as great as they are now.
