Childs selection at Whispering Canyon

Looking at menu noticing that the child has an option of the canyon skillet, as well with a $2.00 charge. So, has anyone done this, do they just let you order it if you're on the dining plan, and then just add $2.00 to the bill? Or do they not add the $2.00 and it's a choice for dining plans?

They have never paid OOP to add it, it was always covered by the dinning plan.
They were also great about letting my picky DS have a chicken breast (the only chicken he will eat) and subbing fries for mashed potatoes.

The $2 will be covered by the ddp. The first time we ate there, everyone at the table ordered the skillet so they didn't bother with bringing kid's skillets out for the 2 children, we just all ate off the big skillet. The last time tho only 2 adults ordered the skillet so they brought an adult skillet & a kid's skillet.

We've done it, on the DDP, every time we've eaten there. They've never added an upcharge.

The whole table does it, and it's all served family style.
