I've read it on here before but now I cant find it. Where is the best place to buy fanny packs that fit a 7 year old? I'd like to get one for my son so he can feel "big". He like to be like the adults. LOL He's a sweetypie.

Would it be possible for you to wait and buy the fanny pack once you arrive at WDW, or do you want one prior to your arrival? The reason I ask is we have found that they have the cutest fanny packs for kids throughout WDW. We got one for our DS when he was 6 at MGM, and he still loves it (he is now 11). It is a cute Mickey one. I know they have some great ones at DTD. The day we arrive at WDW we do not like to burn a day on our park passes, which is true for many WDW travelers. If that is the case with your family, a trip to DTD to the huge Disney store, to buy a special fanny pack for your sweetypie  DS, might be a fun way to start your trip!

My sister picked up a cute Lilo and Stitch red child sized fanny pack the last time she was at WDW for DS2. Her girls also got a cute Minnie one and a Mickey one, too.

They have the cutest Stitch fanny packs at WDW right now. They have a plush Stitch attached to them. They were so cute I almost bought them for my kids, and they were already wearing fanny packs.

I just use the basic WalMart ones that cost about $4, can be washed in the washing machine and last forever. To make it smaller, tie a couple knots in the belt.

Don't have your son to wear one just to feel big, though -- let him carry his own stuff! My son usually has his autograph book, pen and a snack in his fannie pack.

Those are some great ideas. If I cant find a small one somewhere, then I'll remember what you all said about them at WDW. Oh and yea, he will be carrying his own little stuff too, autograph book, pen, etc.

We allowed our girls to wear their fanny packs during our last trip. They carried their little camera and autograph book. We got our packs along with a rolling suitcase and a backpack. I think Samsonite made the suitcase pack. It was cute for them to wear the fanny pack, the backpack and also roll their suitcase through the airport....they thought they were pretty important!!

Also, tip for the fanny pack. I took a magic marker and put their names along with my cell phone number it in, just in case they got lost at the parks.

I "think" I may have found one on ebay. I found one that said small, so I email the seller to ask if that meant small as in childs (I hope) or just a small pack. Cross your fingers for me.

My 6 year old got one in AK last fall- Mickey dressed in Safari wear. It's too cute- functional and a souvenir!!

Target has a little set - rolling suitcase, backpack and fanny pack in matching fabric for about $20. The problem is I don't know how much would fit in the fanny pack. They are in the luggage aisle.

They also have a basic black fanny pack for about $8 that is larger than the one in the set. The notebook we bought for DS autographs is a little larger than 4x6, so we will probably keep it in a backpack to keep it from getting crumpled, but the fanny packs at Target would probably hold a snack, change for pressed pennines, etc.
