Hi Everyone,
I'm sorry if this is a repeat question, I've been reading the boards on and off for the last few weeks but I've never found an answer to my question.

Can we use a childs AP to get the AP discount at a Disney resort? Or do they only accept an adults AP for that? Has anybody done this with any success? Also, what is the typical discount for using the AP? I had heard 30% or 40%, but I'm not sure where I had heard that. We won't be going until 2003, so I know the numbers aren't out yet for then, but it would be nice to get a ballpark figure. Thank you!! :D

No you will need an adult AP. The person whose name the reservation is in will need the AP and that person must be at least 18.

Sorry.

Thank you MichelleMouse! It would have been great if I could have used the childs AP, but I'm not complaining. LOL! I just wanted to know what to expect, and how to plan my budget. Thanks again! These boards are GREAT!!

Does everyone in the party have to have an AP or can only one adult have one for the hotel discounts?

Thanks.

Only 1 adult needs to be AP - the one whose name the ressie will be in.

That standard AP discount is 30%.
