Children's QS meals

I remember back when I was first planning our holiday and just being overwhelmed with information - and planning where we'd want to eat 180 days in advance! Time has certainly flown though, and we go early August.
One thing I vaguely remember was about children's QS meals. Something to do with not all places actually have a children's menu - so they can actually order from the 'normal' menu? Somebody then said that you can actually do that anywhere - but aren't supposed to? What with MB's etc., is that still the case?
Was this some sort of loophole that's now been closed, is still there - or have I completely mis-remembered it?

Dining plan rules have always been that children must order from a children's menu where one is available.

If you scroll up in this forum, you'll see a sticky about kid's meals and where there aren't any, so they can order "adult" meals.

If there is no children's menu the children can order anything from the regular menu.

If there is a children's menu they should order from the children's menu.

This applies to CS also.

Many thanks for that!
One question... - what's the difference between CS and QS?

Thanks again! I was just a bit confused when asking about the QS options that "This applies to CS also." was added.:)

QS stands for Quick Service and CS stands for Counter Service. They are both exactly the same thing. I also get confused with some of the abbreviations. Sometimes I have to read the entire post to figure out what the abbreviation stands for.:rotfl:
