childrens names different

would there be any problem as the childrens names are different because of marriage?

Hello,

Shouldnt be a problem but I would take birth certificates just to be safe.

I took a friends daughter and the immigration guy asked if I had permission to take her out of the UK but didnt look at the letter I had taken with me.

We have the same situation. You need to make sure that you book the tickets in the same names that are on the passports.

We did that in 2003 and didn't have a problem and we have done that again for Sept this year.

I haven't bothered changing to my married name so mine is different to the girls and I haven't had a problem travelling with them on my own.
