I hope all you dining experts can help me...

Do all restaurants have kid's meals?

Do all kid's meals come with prizes?

Are the kid's meals reasonably priced?

Any suggestions as to taking my kids , ages 9,8,6,4 and 1 out to eat, would be greatly appreciated. They are good kids are do okay at any type of place. My 4yr old eats like a bird. I just do not want to spend $200/day for 7 days on food.

We are staying at Ft.W cabins, so we will do breakfast at home(except for one morning - Trail's End for Mickey waffles).

We are going in 10 days and hopes of getting PS for Chef Mickey's have now faded.

Thanks in advance,

The only two places that I can think of without children's menus are Victoria & Albert's and Shula's.

Don't remember any that include a prize or toy...other than a sandpail that the meal comes in at Hurricane Hanna's. However most but not all restaurants have a menu that the kids can color while they wait.

Don't give up on Chef Mickey's if it's important to you. Call the night before, morning of or just go on the early side and see if they can fit you in. Lots of folks report good luck with that.

You may financially be better off to buy adult meals and splint them amongst several of the kids.

Take lots of snacks into the parks and with the fridge at the cabin you can freeze koolaid in water bottles for all the kids, too.

Take-out pizza at the Trail's End is a good deal, too. About $15 for a large pepperoni. You could also get couple of take-out meals at the Trail's End and feed people in the cabin.

The family chicken meal at Cosmic Ray's is a good $deal$, too.

Check wdwig.com for a complete listing of menus and prices and have fun planning!

We always just walk up to Chef Mickeys with no ps. We either go at 5 pm for dinner or 8:30 pm and are seated in 15 minutes or less. So don't give up on Chef Mickeys you might not get the time you want but you can still eat there.

I've never seen prizes with the food, but all the places we ate had crayons and pictures to color for the kids.

I sometimes order one meal from the kids menu and split it between them (good option for the 4yo and 1yo), sometimes let them eat from our plates (our kids are 4 and 2), and sometimes feed em before we go out and just order a dessert from the kids menu.

I try to get them plenty of fresh fruit to snack on during the day (keeps em hydrated too and counters a lot of the 'junk'). There are carts around the parks selling fresh fruit and it makes a nice (inexpensive) refreshing snack (if your kids are normally good fruit eaters).

Last year we ate at 1900 park fare (breakfast- good and filling, lots of options), Citrico's and Brown Derby- they all had kids menus, and park fare didn't charge for my 2yo (who ate more than the 4yo!). You should have no problem finding places to eat- the selection is huge!!

If you have a happy meal at the Restaurantasaurus in AK you get a small toy (it's basically a McDs).

As has been said before there are really no prizes but some of the restaurants have plastic cups that you can keep. Children under three eat free at the buffets.

Don't give up on Chef Mickey's, we got a PS 5 days out in late April after trying for over a month.
