can adults order a kids menu entree?
I'm in a life style changes support group, been losing weight by eating smaller portions and avoiding processed foods. It's working great and not sure if traveling partners would split an entree with me!
I don't want to blow my diet and have to be very aware of how much I am eating. I don't want to only eat salads!

If you are on the DDP, some places allow it and some are weird about it, from what I hear. CS isn't a problem, but TS varies. Sometimes they will bring you a large portion of the kids entree and charge you a full credit, apparently.

We never get the DDP, so it doesn't matter for us on that account. I am a bariatric patient and I order kids meals, snacks, or split with my husband - no one bats so much as an eyelash or cares at all.

1) We pay OOP.
2) We have NEVER been refused ordering a child's menu item at the child's pricing, and we do it a lot.
. . . we actually do order entrees or deserts from the kid's menu
. . . we frequently just order an appetizer or desert and coffee
3) Of course, there are exceptions where an adult still pays the full adult price.
. . . dinner shows
. . . character meals
. . . AYCTE and buffet locations

Thanks for your response. I'm going to try it. Some in my family don't want to split, but they might change their minds when they see I have lost 15 pounds since 1/23 just eating smaller portions and avoiding processed food.
A lot of TS have a kids portion of an entree on the adult menu, that will be perfect!

My husband used to hate splitting meals. After my 163 lb weight loss and my husbands 35 lb loss, he changed his tune. Lol. Someone will certainly split with you!
