I have several questions. First, since the app is no longer included for 2008 do TS restaurants still have the 3 course kids meals or have things changed.

I know that it its important to tell the server that we are on the DDP, but is it important for us to tell servers that our 2 yo is NOT on the dining plan when we order a meal from a TS restaurant? We will be charging the meals that we order for him and tips back to our room. I hope that all the kinks will be worked out before we go in May.:confused3

The 2008 brochure specifies that appetizers are only included for kids 3-9, so I assume the 3 course kids meals will continue. I don't think Disney wants to eliminate the kids appetizer because that would undermine the big "balanced meals" push they've made with the kids menus in recent years. Without the veggie sticks or salad, they couldn't claim to include every food group in their "healthier" kids meals.

I would definitely mention to each server that your 2 y.o. is NOT on the DDP, especially if you have other children, and thus Child TS credits on your card. This was the case when we went and I didn't want them accidentally charging two child TS credits for the meal. We never did end up paying for anything OOP, however, as the kids shared the meal and none of the restaurants charged us for the extra drink!
