:confused3 How much do you pay for your kids glasses? I pay around $100 for 2 pairs, at a place at the mall, cant think of the name. The DD likes plastic frames, and there does not seem to be much of a selection of them anywhere. :confused3

I paid $120 for one pair. The frames are pretty nice, though, and the store has a great replacement policy. Lenses are free, and for the first year, you only have to pay 25% of the frame cost for replacement if they are broken for any reason.

I have not gotten Hannah a second pair yet, since they have not finalized her prescription. When I do it will be a frame from the "budget" selection, for emergencies.

Well, the frames we just bought DS were about $120, then the lenses were like $50 a piece, so all told about $240.

I just paid about $350 for two pairs plus the eye exam. One pair was wire frames and the other pair was sports goggles.

Insurance will reimburse about $150 of that and the rest goes against our Flex Spending account.

I think we paid about $170 for one pair with wire frames. I would like to get DS10 the ones that have clip-on/magnetic sunglasses. Does anyone have those? How much are they?

I think we paid around $150 for exam and glasses. We also got replacement insurance and nonscratch, anti-glare lenses.

I believe we paid $180 for dd's glasses, it wasn't the frames that were expensive, it were her lens. We paid out of pocket. We used our insurance to cover her contacts.

We are getting the clip on sunglasses for my DS. The clip cost $60. They haven't come in yet, so I can't comment on that.

DD has the glasses that come with sunglasses. there are magnets that hold the sunglasses over the regular ones. we got them at walmart. i was there a month ago and asked if they could had extras- they said that they do not carry that frame anymore. they are nice and the frames were something like $100 and the lenses were included. (they tried to charge me for the "extras" for kids lenses- but they HAVE to make kids lenses out of the really good material the really lite and non shatter)
