So tell me about the Kids' Clubs.
Do all the resorts have them? (Particlularly Polynesian.)

What's been your experience? Tips? What other Kids Clubs are there? I heard that you can leave your little rodenteers in a Kids Club at the Swan & Dolphin when eating in their restuarant. Any thoughts?

Grand Floridian: Mouseketeer Club
Polynesian: Neverland Club
Beach Club: Sandcastle Club
Wilderness Lodge: Cub's Den
Animal Kingdon Lodge: Simba's CLub

My DD6 has been going since she turned 4. They have different areas of activities: crafts, video games, toys, etc. Your kids can choose what they want to do. They serve a child pleasing dinner during certain hours (included in the $10 per hour per child fee).

My daughter looks forward to going to the Kids Clubs as much as she does the parks! It is a great break for her from all the walking and from us and we get a break form her!!! SHe ALWAYS wants to stay later when we come to pick her up. SHe has been at the Neverland & Sandcastles Clubs. This upcoming Feb 2005 trip we have her scheduled for Cubs Den & Simbas Club.

We have never used the club at the Swan/Dolphin.

Your children will love the experience and you will get a little break...take advantage of this Disney resort guest perk.

Have fun!!! :flower:

My DD has stayed at the Neverland Club at Poly and loved it so much, she asked to go back another night--she is an only child and loves to spend time with other kids.

This past trip. she stayed at the Dolphin club while we went to Shulas. The restaurant gave us credit for 2 hours of child care while at Shulas. DD enjoyed it a little less than Neverland Club (probably in part to being the oldest kid there), but loved when they went to the arcade and were given a bag of tokens.

My boys, now 6 & 5, loved the Neverland Club on our last trip. We felt a little guilty at first but I think they needed a break from us too. They did arts & crafts, watched a movie, played video games and ate dinner a couple of nights too. One night we dropped them off just so we could spend some time quietly packing up for our early plane departure the next day. Some say the theming is a little dark there but my kids had no problem with that. They left with "goody bags" and all their art projects. They definitely rate it as one of their favorite things to do. If you're going during a busy time and are counting on the child care (ie. for a special PS somewhere), make a reservation ahead of time. You have to give credit card info but have 24 hrs in advance to cancel it if your plans change. For our next trip in February we'll be at WL so we booked the Cub's Den for a couple nights. I'm sure it will be great but does anyone have any comments to share?

We have ressies at the Neverland Club for our 4 and 6 year olds for this upcoming trip. The kids are excited about going and it seems they will practically have the place to themselves. I just called yesterday to reconfirm our ressies with the Neverland Club and I asked them if there are alot of other children with ressies and they said that there was no one else booked yet and she mentioned that there were over 90 spots open (so I can imagine how crowded it can get).

I will make a post about the Neverland Club when we get back from our trip.

Thanks for the feedback. I would love to have a night to go to Pleasure Island with my DH if the 3 kids could have fun at The Neverland Club. My question is whether there is a time when the place sort of clears out. I'm not sure what time most things begin at pleasure island but I would hate for kids to be there for 5+ hours. Would it be too late to bring them at 8ish? Maybe it wouldn't work because of kids staying up too late. What do you all think.

We have used them, and DD LOVED them! We had a very good experience with both the Cub's Den at WL and the Neverland Club. There is more for the kids to do at the Neverland Club at the Poly than any of the others. I am not sure the cost at this point, but I think it was $10 an hour and the meal was included. You can make reservations by calling Disney Dining, 407 WDW-DINE. You will have to give them a CC to hold the reservation and must cancel by 24 hours in advance. The times vary with the club, but Neverland Club is available from 4 pm until midnight. They will give you a beeper in case there are any problems, and have no problems with you calling to check in.

We have gone to PI while DD was in Neverland Club. Do not rely on bus transporation to get you back to the Poly by midnight. We either drove or took a cab so we could get there in time. Don't worry about the kids staying for 5 hours, either. They won't want to leave when you get there to pick them up. Yes, it is perfectly ok for you to bring the child around 8 pm, but they will not be served dinner.

As for crowding, I have never seen any of the Kids Clubs overly crowded... in fact, I always expected there to be MORE kids.
